Bahrain reports 1175 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday

Bahrain yesterday registered 1,175 new Covid-19 cases alongside 931 recoveries and three fatalities.

Two Bahraini men, aged 58 and 64, and a Bahraini woman, 43, died yesterday, taking the total number of deaths to 569. Of the new cases, 416 were expat workers, 689 contacts of active cases and 70 travel-related.

An additional 931 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 148,093. Of the 11,302 active cases, 192 are receiving treatment and 91 in critical condition.

Bahrain has so far registered a total of 159,964 cases.

The kingdom has conducted 3,834,581 tests.
