651 new COVID-19 cases registered in Bahrain on Saturday

Bahrain yesterday registered 651 new cases of Covid-19 alongside 673 recoveries and two fatalities.

A Bahraini man, 76, and a Bahraini woman, 58, died yesterday, taking the total deaths to 444.

Of the new cases, 229 were expat workers, 410 contacts of active cases and 12 travel-related.

An additional 673 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 114,472.

Of the 6,862 active cases, 133 are receiving treatment and 70 in critical condition.

Bahrain has so far registered a total of 121,778 cases.

The kingdom has also conducted 3,077,307 tests.
