Muscat: The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) has arrested 13 expatriate workers from Muscat governorate for violating the labour law and indulging in washing vehicles in private parking.
In a statement issued online, MOM stated: “Ministry represented by the Joint Inspection Team in Muscat, carried out inspection campaigns on workers who violate vehicle washing rules at public parking in Al Khuwair area and in Baushar during the weekend."
"Through the campaign, 13 workers were arrested and legal procedures are underway,” the statement added
