RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Communications and Information Technology Commission has expanded the local roaming service to 691 more villages in the Eastern Province, Northern Borders region and Al-Jouf.
In the first and second phases of service expansion, the commission added several areas in the Asir, Riyadh and Qassim regions.
It is part of the Kingdom’s digital transformation plans to ensure availability of broadband services all across the country.
