Muscat - Muscat Bay, Oman’s exclusive integrated tourism complex, will host leading social media figures from across the region and Oman for an iftar gathering as part of the opening of Parkland on May 18. 

Parkland will officially be opened by H H Sayyid Kamil bin Fahad bin Mahmoud al Said, Assistant Secretary General in the Office of Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers.

The iftar will unite popular influencers to celebrate the auspicious ceremony. In attendance will be the poet and media personality, Sheikh Duaij al Khalifa al Sabah; actress and host, Hanadi al Kandari; fashion influencers, Dr Kholoud and her husband Ameen; popular dentist, Dr Hasan al Ghoneim, and Omani photographer, Hilal al Battashi.

The event will introduce Parkland to the heart of the Muscat Bay community. The new park area covers 18,000sq m of lush greenery in a central location as a space to host events and community activities at Muscat Bay.

Parkland hosts two community pools - one for kids and another one for adults - a sports field, and walk areas around the residences surrounded by the mountains and overlooking the seafront.
