DUBAI, UAE: Cigna Insurance Middle East (CIME), a leading health services company, today announced the winners of its 2nd Middle East Brokers Awards. The annual event seeks to reward and recognize the distinguished efforts of brokers that play a crucial role in driving the insurance sector in the region.

This year’s awards included a record number of 45 brokerage firms, who were evaluated across various categories for their performance in 2020. Entities that made the shortlist were assessed for their impact, innovation, SME services, individual offerings, retention rates and more. Winners in each category received the awards at their respective offices from the CIME team.

Marsh Emirates Insurance Brokerage, Nasco Middle East, and Nasco Emirates won in the SME Broker of the Year category, while AON Middle East was named Corporate Broker of the Year and Pacific Prime was honored as Individual Broker of the Year. In the Best Newcomer category, Continental Insurance Brokers was recognized in the SME segment, Lockton Insurance Brokers in the Corporate segment, and Insurancemarket.ae in the Individual segment.

AON Middle East and Associated Insurance Consultants both received the award for the Retention Broker of the Year – SME, while Willis Towers Watson was recognized as the Retention Broker for the Year – Corporate. Marsh Emirates Insurance Brokerage also received the prestigious Cigna Broker of the Year Award and Pacific Prime was named as the Innovation Broker of the Year.
