Dubai, UAE: Twenty-seven students from ten countries across the world have graduated from Dubai Business Associates (DBA), a prestigious graduate management programme run under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Managed by Falcon and Associates, the DBA programme offers outstanding and ambitious graduates an unrivalled opportunity to study and do business in Dubai, a dynamic and multicultural hub for global commerce, to develop as future global leaders.

Employing an experiential and project-based learning approach, the DBA programme is a transformative experience for associates, who are taught career-enhancing consulting skills and then given the opportunity to develop these and gain practical insight into the world of work through their placements with Dubai based entities. The associates played a key role in the recent UAE-China Cultural Marathon, a five-day online event featuring talks, musical performances, and cultural masterclasses in both China and the UAE.

Speaking at the ‘virtual’ graduation, held on Zoom, His Excellency Dr. Tariq Al Gurg, Chief Executive Officer at Dubai Cares and Member of its Board of Directors said: “To the graduating associates, this is your day, and I congratulate you on your achievement. This city has helped in shaping your perspective on the world. Dubai is now in your DNA. You are uniquely qualified to change the world and help to solve global challenges, so as you return to your home countries, let’s continue to work together to make the world a better place”.

Mr. Ji Yongjun, Deputy Director-General of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), said: ‘’The CPAFFC has worked closely with the Dubai Business Associates programme to recruit top Chinese talent since its inception six years ago. DBA provides a huge career boost for graduates. The Chinese associates become cultural ambassadors, strengthening the relationship between China and the UAE and creating Chinese friendships across the world. Dubai is one of the world’s most international cities - there they learn to spread the universal messages of tolerance and respect that no mountain or seas can block’’.

James Maughan, Director, Dubai Business Associates, said: “We bring to life His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s vision for Dubai Business Associates by developing talented young students, from all over the world, and transforming them into business leaders of the future while creating cultural ambassadors of Dubai”.
