• Honoring 150 outstanding Kuwaiti students in literature, science and religious studies departments
  • The ceremony takes place on Wednesday, June 12th  in the auditorium of MOE headquarters in South Surra
  • The ceremony will honor the winners of the scientific excellence competitions in which MOE participates in locally and regionally

National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) will sponsor the official high school graduation ceremony for the academic year 2018/2019 under the patronage and in the presence of Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Hamed Al-Azmi.  The ceremony will be held at the auditorium of the Ministry of Education’s headquarter in South Surra.

The ceremony includes honoring around 150 outstanding students (Kuwaitis and non-Kuwaitis) in the scientific, literature and religious studies departments, as well as students from private schools. NBK will also honor scientific excellence competition award winners in which MOE participates in locally and regionally.

“NBK is proud to sponsor MOE’s ceremony to honor outstanding high school students for the 12th consecutive year. This event is an integral part of our CSR initiatives aimed at supporting the education sector.” Said Manal Faisal Al-Mattar, NBK Assistant General Manager of Public Relations and Communications. “NBK is committed to supporting Kuwaiti youth and promoting various educational and academic activities aimed at developing national skills and equipping future generations with the required knowledge to ensure community development and sustainability”. Al-Mattar added, noting that NBK has successfully maintained its commitment to educational purposes and student support for over a decade.

Al-Mattar highlighted that NBK spares no effort in supporting Kuwaiti youth, as it is keen on providing whatever they need to continue their successful journey towards achieving academic excellence and reaching their goals, thus supporting Kuwait’s development and prosperity. “NBK firmly believes in students’ capabilities and their great potentials.” Al-Matter noted, describing it as the best way to equip youth with the required tools to support their country’s future, especially in the presence of distinguished institutions that are capable of investing in promising talents and creating future career opportunities. 

NBK continuously strives to support and empower students by providing training and development programs designed according to the latest methodologies and scientific standards to enrich the educational experience of national cadres.  NBK also provides training programs for students to familiarize them with the labor market’s requirements, in addition to delivering a wide array of developmental and training programs for university graduates including but not limited to NBK Academy, internships, and many other Human Resources Group Programs.
