Abu Dhabi, UAE – For the fifth consecutive year, Senaat, one of the largest industrial investment holding companies in the UAE, has announced its participation at Tawdheef 2017, this year sponsoring the event as its Industrial Partner.

Tawdheef is the UAE’s leading recruitment event, providing a platform for students and young professionals to meet with recruiters from a wide range of sectors and backgrounds.

The event has been instrumental in enabling Senaat to successfully place 467 Emirati employees throughout the group in the past two years, a significant portion of the 1,247 Emiratis retained in the same period.

This year, Senaat is joined at the UAE’s leading recruitment event by representatives from its portfolio companies Emirates Steel, NPCC, Ducab, Agthia, Arkan and Al Foah. Senaat and its portfolio is sponsoring Tawdheef as part of its commitment to showcase the industrial sector to Emirati talent, largely recognised as one of the UAE’s fastest growing sectors for years to come.

Commenting on Tawdheef’s significance to Senaat’s human capital endeavours, Mr. Mahmood Al Hameli, Senior Vice President of Business Support for Senaat, said, “Senaat’s human development programmes show our commitment to developing great employees, as well as excellent citizens. In the past two years, Senaat has retained 1,247 Emirati nationals, a demonstration of our commitment to creating opportunities for local talent to thrive, and for them to build, develop and lead the industrial sector in the UAE.”

Senaat has a target of employing 2,168 Emiratis across the group by 2020, comprising 32 per cent of its workforce.
