Manama, Bahrain: 111 years old PHD Chamber of commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), one of India’s leading chambers of commerce, has chosen Gulf Industry Fair to promote its members and their products in the GCC.    

Under the co-operation agreement PHD Chamber will bring companies from infrastructure, power, renewable energy, manufacturing, logistics and smart cities space to Gulf Industry Fair under the umbrella of an Indian Pavilion to promote the industrial expertise available in India from its members.

Our members include some of India’s leading industrial companies such as DCM Shriram Industries Ltd.; IREDA, Reliance, Tata Power, DLF, J K Organization, Kajaria Ceramics, Hindware, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. And Salora International Ltd.to mention a few” says Mr. Saurabh Sanyal, Secretary General of PHD Chambers.

PHD Chamber are connected globally with over 60 Chambers of Commerce. The organisation provides business advice to Indian companies on most aspects of their business. In addition the Chamber is proactive in promoting business opportunities to its members from around the world.

Indian investments in Bahrain have recently crossed the $1 billion marker, the total trade between the two countries in 2015 totaled USD 650 million. Currently there are 18 branches of Indian companies and 150 Indian commercial agencies in Bahrain.

Gulf Industry Fair takes place from the 7-9 February 2016 under the patronage of HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, The Prime Minister of Bahrain,   at the  Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

Gulf Industry Fair 2017 is sponsored by the Bahrain Petroleum Company ( BAPCO) and Aluminum Bahrain ( ALBA) in association with NOGA.

Supporting organisations for Gulf Industry Fair 2017 includes AHK Saudi Arabia, the German Saudi Arabian Liaison for Economic Affairs and the Saudi British Economic Offset Programme.

PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, established in 1905, is a proactive and dynamic multi-State apex organization working at the grass-root level and with strong national and international linkages.

PHD Chamber has a direct membership of over 1,600 corporate entities and serves more than 45,000 indirect members through 200 Association Members and 8 Secretarial Affiliates. The membership covers trade and industry.
