Manama Bahrain: InterContinental Regency Bahrain, one of the leading 5 star hotels in the Kingdom, recently welcomed Mr. Vasken Vartanian as the new Director of Sales and Marketing.

Mr. Vasken brings with him 16 years of professional expertise in the Luxury Hotel and Hospitality Business Management, 9 years of which were in the field of Sales and Marketing.

Welcoming Mr, Vasken Vartanian, Area General Manager of InterContinental Regency Bahrain, Mr. Jan Ifcic said: "It is with great pleasure that we welcome a seasoned hotelier like Mr. Vartanian to InterContinental Regency Bahrain and we feel extremely fortunate to have him join our team. Mr. Vartanian, a Jordanian national, began his career in the Hospitality Industry serving in various senior sales and marketing positions at prominent hotel groups. An alumni of Europa College, Cyprus with a Degree in Hotel Management, and having previously held several roles within the Sales & Marketing Department at leading companies such as Emaar, Raffles and Shangrila to name a few, Mr. Vartanian's most recent position was as Cluster Director Of Sales & Marketing for Al Rayyan Hospitality Group.

Mr. Vartanian has acquired various leadership and sales and marketing certifications and training all throughout his career progression. Coupled with dynamic new ideas and a sharp sense of Sales and Marketing, Mr. Vartanian possess great leadership skills and passion for fineness which he aims to put into play while heading the hotel's Sales and Marketing Function.
