HAMBURG- Tunisia's state grains agency has issued an international tender to purchase 125,000 tonnes of soft milling wheat and 25,000 tonnes of feed barley, European traders said on Monday.

The tender deadline is Tuesday, April 17.

The grains can be sourced from optional origins, they said.

The wheat was sought in five 25,000 tonne consignments for shipment between May 15 to July 15, depending on origin supplied, they said.

The barley was sought in one 25,000 tonne consignment for shipment between June 5 to June 25, also depending on origin, they said.

In its last reported tender on March 23, Tunisia bought about 50,000 tonnes of soft wheat, about 50,000 tonnes of durum wheat and around 25,000 tonnes of feed barley.

Chicago wheat futures extended losses on Monday to a 10-day low as forecasts of rain relief for parched U.S. winter wheat belts eased crop concerns and kept attention on ample global supply. GRA/
