Amman: Need more time to decide on booking online to your desired destination? To help you while you make that decision, Royal Jordanian launched a flexible service called "Time to Think", through which potential travelers have 48 hours to purchase their ticket online at the chosen price, even if it might have changed during the waiting period.

The new online service offers travelers an extension on the time limit during which they may purchase a ticket, enabling them to keep unpaid bookings for 48 hours after making a reservation through RJ website www.rj.com and mobile app. That way, passengers can retain their seats and have the guarantee that the ticket fare does not undergo changes.

This service is available for flights departing no less than three days ahead, and is valid for 24 or 48 hours, depending on the destination and the flight date.

"Time to Think", a service against a small fee, is valid for select destinations and dates and for RJ flights where no other carriers are involved. It is available all year round, except during sales promo periods.

Customers can make use of this service during the last step of online booking; those who wish to buy this service have the option to choose "Need more Time to Think" instead of "Pay Now" on the payment page, and they will be notified of the last moment when they may issue their tickets.

RJ President/CEO Stefan Pichler said: “We are pleased to announce to our customers that they can hold the chosen fares on line for two days, to give them more time to make up their mind. If you choose to use this service, rest assured that the selected fare will not be affected by any price changes while you decide.

"This new service reflects one of Royal Jordanian's current goals, which is to become the airline of choice for more and more customers by improving their travel experience, and providing them a variety of highly flexible hassle-free services and helping them save time.”
