Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) general index gained 9.2 points, or 0.2%, to close at 4,696.2 points on Sunday, pushed up by six sectors led by the energy firms.

The energy sector rose, as Dana Gas and Taqa grew 2.88% and 2.5%, respectively.

Dana Gas topped the market in terms of trading value, with a turnover of AED 30.9 million.

The ADX’s trading volume reached 49.14 million shares, while the market’s liquidity amounted to AED 87.11 million.

The real estate and banks sector went up 0.39% each after Aldar Properties rose 0.48% to AED 2.09.
