A salon in Dubai has been ordered shut for violating precautionary measures designed to keep residents and tourists safe from Covid-19.

In its daily report, the Dubai Municipality said on Sunday that 2,157 outlets in Dubai were inspected. Of these, 22 were warned to implement the safety measures, while 2,134 were found to be fully compliant with them.

Authorities in Dubai have stepped up Covid safety inspections.

On Saturday, three tourism venues were ordered shut for not adhering to the precautionary measures. Three other establishments were also fined.
