After a successful 2 years tenure in Muscat, Demitry moves back to Abu Dhabi to oversee City Seasons Group's first 5-star hotel
Abu Dhabi: City Seasons Hotels have appointed Mr. George Demitry as General Manager of their recently open hotel in the capital.
Mr. Demitry moves in from City Seasons Muscat where he was general manager for the past 2 years, and successfully placed the property in the top list of hotels in Oman.
Hailing from Egyptian descent where he has started at Intercontinental Hotels, Mr. Demitry carries a bachelor degree in Science and is a certified Hotel Administrator by The American Hotel & Lodging Association- US. He brings along more than 17 years in the hospitality management spanning 8 local and international brands of which 3 Hotel openings. A long stint in Vancouver Canada had seen him overlooking Regional Operations for a North American Hotel chain.
Mr. Demitry's posting in Abu Dhabi is the second one after a previous tenure where he oversaw the opening and re-branding of City Seasons Al Hamra Abu Dhabi, in 2010.

At Royal Rose Abu Dhabi, Mr. Demitry will oversee the 5-star property's operations, while working on its F&B expansion and positioning in the capital. The 355-room hotel is the first 5-star property managed and owned by City Seasons Hotels and the flagship of the group. Similar properties are in the pipeline in a couple GCC countries.

During his tenure at City Seasons Muscat, Mr. Demitry has led the property to win the following awards:
1. 2014- Oman- Muscat/ Received Best City Hotel Award
2. 2014- Oman- Muscat/ Received Best Family Hotel by Arab Media

The Royal Rose Hotel by City Seasons is the first 5-star hotel operated by City Seasons - in the heart of Abu Dhabi. The 355 room Royal Rose is City Season's second property in the Capital, the two hotels very close to each other, will provide a total of over 665 rooms and suites and combined meeting facilities for above 700 delegates.
