The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has reaffirmed previous warnings against turbulences in the Arabian Gulf until 11:00pm, Sunday.

An NCM statement cited fresh northwesterly wind up to 25 knots with wave heights between 5 to 7 feet, peaking up to 8 feet until Sunday evening.

The day in general, according to theNCM, is expected to be fair.

The NCM added that there will be light to moderate winds in general, freshening at times by afternoon, which may cause blowing dust over some exposed areas.

Strong winds will veer southeasterly to northeasterly, 20 - 38, reaching 48kph at times in the mountain areas during day time.

The temperature could hover between 35 to 42C over the coastal areas and between 41 to 47C in the internal areas.

Residents should prepare themselves as relative humidity could be between 60 to 90 per cent in the coastal areas and between 55 to 85 per cent in the internal areas.

Hot days ahead

Over the next two days, the weather will remain the same with moderate winds blowing dust over exposed areas. Sea will continue to be rough to moderate in the Arabian Gulf.
