Abu Dhabi: Rabdan Academy in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi celebrated the honoring of a group of its distinguished and outstanding students from the Ministry of Interior, in the presence of His Excellency Major General Dr. Jassim Mohammed Al Marzouqi, Commander-in-Chief of Civil Defense, member of the Board of Trustees of Rabdan Academy, and Colonel Dr. Omar Al Ali, Director General of Competency Development at the Ministry of Interior.

The Academy organized the honoring ceremony, which was attended by a number of officers and officials from the Ministry of Interior and Civil Defense, distinguished students, and some parents of students. The honoring ceremony took place at the Academy's headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

Expressing his pride in the students, His Excellency Major General Dr. Jassim Muhammad Al Marzouqi, Commander-in-Chief of Civil Defense and a member of the Board of Trustees of Rabdan Academy for the Ministry of Interior’s employees at the Academy, said: “The outstanding and distinguished students are role models for the nation’s youth. The UAE leadership, government, and people are proud of them, and their excellence in the study will make them They are able to occupy positions of higher responsibility, because they have demonstrated high merit in gaining knowledge, work, and specialization to serve their country in various fields, and I thank the parents who have given their utmost care and care to provide the reasons for excellence in studies for their children, despite the exceptional circumstances of the pandemic.”

His Excellency Dr. Faisal Al-Ayyan, Vice President of Rabdan Academy, said in his speech during the honoring ceremony that was held in the Martyr Hall at the Academy’s headquarters, “These students are distinguished by their scientific excellence, and the high level of discipline with speed in adapting to physical and distance education systems, and in our world today, which is racing In science, the winner is the one who has the latest science and information accompanied by the best practical training, and this is the essence of our work at the Academy, as we are keen to provide students with the highest international standards in academic education and vocational training, in order to achieve our mission in establishing specialized national cadres, capable of protecting the homeland and preserve its gains.

For his part, Colonel Dr. Omar Al Ali, Director General of Competency Development at the Ministry of Interior, said: "You are outstanding students and you have the competencies and talents after you have been ready to perform your duties in maintaining public safety according to scientific foundations that meet future security needs, and keep pace with changes and developments based on solid foundations of science and knowledge and foreseeing the future in accordance with the best international advanced standards.”

His Excellency Dr. Al-Ayyan concluded: "We are proud of our strong relationship with the Ministry of Interior, and we extend our thanks and gratitude to them for their efforts, support, and cooperation with us, in order to graduate qualified national cadres with accurate standards that take into account the needs of the present and are efficient in facing future challenges and able to protect the security and safety of the UAE community."

At the end of the ceremony, His Excellency Major General Jassem Al Marzouqi and His Excellency Dr. Faisal Al Ayyan presented the shields and certificates of appreciation to the outstanding and distinguished students, in the presence of a number of students' parents who expressed their joy at this great achievement.
