Abu Dhabi –   National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) has been awarded an AED 1.65 billion ($450 million) contract from Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) to develop Bu Haseer offshore field in Bahrain.

NPCC also won the contracts of 2,3 and 4 blocks, which involve onshore works in Das Island in UAE, in addition to pumping water into Zirkuh Island.

NPCC, which is part Senaat Abu Dhabi, is expected to complete the projects by June 2021.

ADNOC plans to increase the output of Bu Haseer field to 16,000 barrels per day (bpd) in the coming few years.
