MUSCAT: Muscat Municipality, in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour, organised a training workshop on the individual performance and institutional excellence measurement system, on Wednesday.

The workshop was attended by Sayyid Saud bin Hilal bin Hamad al Busaidy, Minister of State and Governor of Muscat, and Engineer Essam bin Saud al Zadjali, Chairman of Muscat Municipality, and senior officials at the municipality.

The workshop was presented by Mohammed bin al Waleed al Hinai, director of project individual performance and institutional excellence measurement system.

The individual performance measurement system earned Royal blessing being one of the enablers of the Oman Vision 2040. It aims to develop the human resources system by building a culture of proficiency in job performance, improving performance appraisal systems, and linking productivity with incentives which results in improving services and enhancing community confidence in government performance.

This will be followed by a series of training workshops to be implemented as per schedule.
