Municipality destroys more than 150kg of meat in Oman

Muscat: Over 150 kg of meat was destroyed by Municipal authorities at the Al Dakhiliyah governorate.

The meat, authorities revealed, was unfit for human consumption.

In a statement online, the Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources said, "More than 150 kg of meat and poultry was destroyed in the Wilayat of Bahla and Al Hamra in the Al Dakhiliyah governorate because it was not suitable for human consumption. This happened during a visit by specialists to inspect meat and poultry shops."
