SAO PAULO - Brazilian renewable energy co Renova Energia SA, which is in bankruptcy protection, said Mubadala Investment Company was declared the winning bidder for one of its producing units.

Mubadala will pay 1.1 billion reais ($213 million) for the unit, which owns small hydroelectric dams.
