Trade exchange between Egypt and Morocco has recorded around $700 million during 2016, said Nasser Ibrahim, commercial attaché at the Egyptian embassy in Rabat, on Thursday.

Egypt’s exports to Morocco stood at $425 million approximately, Ibrahim stated, saying he expects this number to grow exponentially within this year triggered by the Egyptian government’s plans to double the country’s exports to Africa.

The Egyptian diplomat made these remarks on the sidelines of the 7th International Exhibition for Plastic - Plast Expo which kicked off in Morocco between April 5 and 8.
