Sharjah: Sharjah Ladies Club Branches (SLCB) is calling for women from all nationalities to participate in their annual ‘Color Challenge’ sporting event. To held on November 29 at Al Bataeh Park in Sharjah’s Central Region, the ticketed event will host a bunch of thoroughly entertaining sporting competitions and games designed to encourage UAE women to lead healthy lives by playing sports, exercise and other physical activities part of their daily routines.

This year’s Color Challenge participants will be facing a four-track obstacle to reach the finish line, namely, The Climb, Big Baller Challenge, The Maze, The Holes. Alia Al Mansouri, IFPA Certified Personal Trainer and Zumba expert will be sharing expert tips with participants to successfully complete the challenge.

The event will also host a range of exciting activities like Zumba and aerobics in the event’s vibrant open-air environment to enable participants enjoy great weather, have fun and interact with other attendees.

Amna Al Shanasi, Manager, Sharjah Ladies Club Branches, said: “The importance of organising sporting events goes beyond encouraging women to adopt a healthy lifestyle. These event contribute to sustainable development, to building societies in which women and families have active avenues to work on improving their physical and psychological health.”

“Over the past four editions of Color Challenge, we have been disseminating information and advice that can be practically applied by young ladies and women to improve their stamina, their sporting abilities, and apply them regularly to stay in great shape and spirit. Their good health will reflect positively on their families and their community,” she added.

Sports and leisure facilities from all 10 SLC branches, including Joori Beauty Center, Marasi Restaurant and Collage Café from SLC, will all be part of the event.

Tickets for the Color Challenge can be purchased at the following locations: Dhaid Ladies Club, Al Madam Ladies Club, Al Bataeh Ladies Club, Al Maleeha Ladies Club, Al Thameed Ladies Club, and Al Hamriyah Ladies Club.
