India's Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced on Wednesday that it ensured on-time dispatch of critical reactors, coke drums and sub-assemblies of nuclear fusion reactor for global clients despite the COVID-19 lockdown in India.

The engineering conglomerate said in a press statement that its heavy engineering unit delivered a final consignment of four (out of total package of 16) ARDS reactors for ADNOC for the oil company's refinery modernisation project in the UAE, and final consignment of four Coke Drums part of package of hydrocracking reactors for Oman's Duqm Refinery.

Additionally, the company delivered two Ethylene Oxide Reactors for LPCL Petrochemical Complex in China and also sub-assemblies for International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) in Southern France were delivered on an urgent basis to ensure uninterrupted assembly of Cryostat in Reactor pit.

L&T Heavy Engineering manufactured and delivered the world's largest high-vacuum pressure chamber Cryostat and In Wall Shields for $25 billion multinational ITER project, the statement noted.

Contract values weren't disclosed.
