AMMAN — Jordan Customs Department (JCD) Director General Maj. Gen. Jalal Qudah on Wednesday checked on the Jaber border crossing with Syria in Mafraq.

Qudah said that the JCD has increased its personnel at the border crossing to facilitate cargo and passenger movement after the reopening of the border, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

He added that the customs procedures followed at the border crossing that started operating at full capacity will remain the same. He referred to the “high level” of coordination between the JCD and other security agencies at the site to facilitate procedures for passengers.
