AMMAN — Competition over leadership positions within the media will enhance transparency, Minister of State for Media Affairs Jumana Ghunaimat said on Sunday.
Ghunaimat added that for the first time, appointments in managerial media positions at official institutions, including the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the Media Commission and the Jordan Radio and Television Corporation, will be carried out through a competition, which will provide qualified candidates with a “fair chance”, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
