Muscat - HSBC Bank Oman S.A.O.G. has launched its Entertainer Mobile App as part of its comprehensive digital banking proposition. The App is an extension of the Bank's vast digital services designed to meet the evolving needs of customers and enhance their experiences with added benefits and greater convenience.

The Entertainer Mobile App provides HSBC Credit Card holders with instant access to over 8,000 'Buy 1 Get 1 Free' vouchers for offers ranging from travel and dining to entertainment. Additionally, the new digital service allows customers to track their individual savings and benefit from software that locates venues close to their vicinity where discounts are available. Users can enjoy offers in 15 countries including Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Lebanon, Cyprus, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and South Africa.

He added, "In the first quarter of the year, we recorded a 29% increase in registration to our Personal Internet Banking service compared to the same period last year, proving the growing success of our digital services. Our new digital products ensure that services are available whenever and wherever customers require them, and provide a safe and secure platform that allows customers to carry out the majority of their banking without having to step into a branch."

In addition to the Entertainer Mobile App, HSBC Bank Oman offers a host of digital services including Personal Internet Banking, the country's first-of-its-kind Arabic Mobile App and Mobile Banking which has been updated for customers to make domestic and international money transfers to third party accounts, open new Term Deposits and send and receive secure messages with HSBC about any banking enquiry. Account holders can also view their balances, account details and history on one screen, pay domestic utility and credit card bills as well as check exchange rates using the built-in currency calculator.
