- Stefan Radstrom joined the property in January 2016 as the new General Manager -

Muscat - Grand Hyatt Muscat recently announced the appointment of Stefan Radstrom as the newest General Manager for the property. Radstrom joins from Hyatt Regency Istanbul - Ataköy having worked with Hyatt properties for many years.

Before his transition to Muscat, Radstrom was part of the opening team at Hyatt Regency Istanbul - Ataköy from January 2014 to January 2016. He has accumulated over 25 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry in Europe and Asia including many years of experience in the Middle East.

Born in Sweden, Radstrom studied in the prestigious Cornell University in New York. He began his career in 1989 in his home town of Ronneby where his first job was in hotel Ronneby Brunn marking the beginning of his extensive hotelier experience. From there he traveled the world working for various hotel groups such as Radisson Blu, Belmond Grand Hotel, Le Meridien Bristol - Poland and Budapest as well as part of the opening team in 2004 for Hotel Le Regina which was awarded by Condé Nast Traveler as one of the best new hotels in the world a year after its opening.

He joined Hyatt International in the year 2007 and assisted the opening team at Grand Hyatt Doha and later at Grand Hyatt Goa in 2010. He spent four years in Grand Hyatt Goa before moving onto his most recent hotel opening at Hyatt Regency Istanbul - Ataköy.
