Dubai: After much anticipation, the wait is finally over as the new concept Lulu Hypermarket officially opened at Festival Plaza. The new store was inaugurated by H.E Dawoud Al Hajri-Director General of Dubai Municipality in the presence of Lulu Group’s Chairman & Managing Director, Mr. Yusuff Ali M.A and Timothy Earnest, Group Director, Al Futtaim Malls.

Lulu Hypermarket will provide customers with their everyday essentials across its 56,000 square feet of space, of which 85% is allocated to Grocery Food and Fresh Foods. This is the first time Lulu hypermarket customers can sit in and eat their freshly prepared food from the live stations that offer fresh Sushi, Pasta and Pizza as well as a large range of organic, gluten-free, low-fat and diabetic foods.

The new store joins the retail precinct that serves as a convenient and local lifestyle destination, consisting of a projected 120 stores in addition to key flagship stores IKEA and Marks & Spencer. This is complemented by a 500-seat food court, an upcoming 40 dining and eating options, a Stay and Play offering, family entertainment Kids Club and over 2,300 parking spaces.

The group’s 186th branch worldwide was designed according to the best design concepts, serving many residents located in the Wasl Gate development.
