CAIRO- Egypt's M2 money supply increased by 17.2% year-on-year in August, central bank statistics published on Thursday showed.

Money supply stood at 5.49 trillion Egyptian pounds ($350.57 billion), compared with 4.68 trillion pounds a year earlier.
