Cairo –  The total construction cost of Hurghada Industrial Complex reached EGP 680 million, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported on Wednesday, citing the head of the Egyptian Industrial Development Authority (IDA) Magdy Ghazy as saying.

Spanning over 336 square metres, the industrial complex comprises 218 small factories and creates from 5,000 to 7,000 direct and indirect jobs, Ghazy added.

Investors are now allowed to request a maximum of eight industrial units, instead of four, he pointed out.
