Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian government is planning to execute EGP 2.579 billion ($150 million) water and sanitation projects in Alexandria.

The plan includes drinking water purification projects in Burj Al Arab, with total investments of EGP 491 million, slated for completion in September 2019.

The unveiled projects including processing plant with a total cost of EGP 301 million, housing minister Asem al-Gazzar said on Friday.

Al-Gazzar added that a power plant project in Sharqia to generate power through a sanitation plant, with a total investment of EGP 684 million and EUR 56 million.
