ArabFinance: Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation said Egypt exported 3.62 million tons of agricultural products in seven months, according to a statement.

Citrus plants topped the list with 1.38 million tons exported during the period from January 1st until July 8th.

Potatoes came in the second place with 667,546 tons, followed by onions with 273,312 tons.

Eggplants, meanwhile, were the less exported agricultural goods with only 825 tons.

The country also exported grapes, pomegranates, garlic, mango, strawberries, green beans, guavas, cucumber, and peppers.

In June, the ministry announced seven new global markets importing agricultural products from Egypt.

Meanwhile in April, the agriculture minister said the country would export citrus plants to Brazil for the first time.
