PARIS- * The European Union's crop monitoring service MARS on Monday raised slightly its forecast of the average soft wheat yield in the EU this year to 6.05 tonnes per hectare (t/ha) from 6.01 t/ha last month.

* In other cereals, it increased its outlook for the EU's grain maize yield to 7.92 t/ha from 7.73 t/ha last month and raised marginally its all-barley yield forecast to 4.96 t/ha from 4.95 t/ha.

* For this year's sugar beet crop, MARS estimated the EU yield at 76.5 t/ha, down from 77.1 t/ha in April.

* It also lowered its forecast of the 2019 EU rapeseed yield, to 3.13 t/ha from 3.19 t/ha last month.
