UAE – Mubasher: The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), the global hub for trade and enterprise and the largest and fastest growing free zone in the UAE, announced up to 30% discount on the license fees for the member companies of the United Nations Global Compact (UN Global Compact).

During a briefing session held on Monday, 20 January, 15 companies that are registered in DMCC were recognised to join the official signatories of the UN Global Compact, according to a recent statement.

DMCC’s support to the world’s largest sustainability initiative is in line with its corporate strategy to adopt sustainability in the 17,000 companies headquartered in Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT).

Commenting on this news, the CEO at DMCC, Feryal Ahmadi, said: “Joining the UN Global Compact is hugely beneficial for our members, and it is why we decided to offer commercial incentives. Looking ahead, we will continue to encourage companies to embrace the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and contribute towards a better and more sustainable future for all.”
