ArabFinance: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) will offer on September 21st treasury bonds (T-bonds) at a total value of EGP 8.75 billion via three tranches, according to the CBE’s latest data.

The first batch stands at EGP 1.25 billion, holding a tenor of two years that will end on July 21st 2022.

The central bank will offer another tranche at a value of EGP 4 billion, with a five-year maturity that will expire on September 22nd 2025.

The third T-bonds issue totals EGP 3.5 billion in value, carrying a tenor of 10 years that will be matured on July 14th 2030, according to the CBE’s data.

During the month of September, the CBE plans to issue T-bonds and treasury bills at a total value of EGP 229.75 billion.
