Almajdouie Motors, the authorized distributor for Changan cars in Saudi Arabia, has announced its sponsorship for the “Yatek Khairha” initiative for women’s safe driving.

The event, held on April 16-18 in Riyadh, is the first of its kind in terms of content and its specialized message, multiple sections and topics of dialogue for the welfare of women and their families while driving.

The initiative was held in the presence of Tamador Alramah, deputy minister of labor and social development, at the instructions of Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, chairman of the Disabled Children’s Association. The initiative was organized in cooperation with the General Directorate of Traffic.

Alramah said: “We are here today to further promote the continued stimulation of Saudi women by the government and continuous monitoring for her successes and achievements toward a brighter future with the permission of Allah, as well as to use her potentials and energies for the benefit of herself, her family and her country.”

Mohammed Ali Almajdouie, managing director of Almajdouie Motors Company — Changan, said: “Our participation in this initiative as a ‘gold sponsor’ comes in support of the royal instructions to allow women to drive cars, as well as a reflection of Almajdouie — Changan’s strategy, which is focused on our participation in all community activities that address issues of society, its evolution and welfare.”

He added: “Changan cars represent the modern development of cars, in view of its many advanced driving support systems, security and safety. This makes driving Changan very enjoyable, comfortable, smooth and free of problems.”

He said Changan, being a family car, is economical on both fuel consumption and cost of operating levels, and suitable for women, taking into account family needs and requirements.

He emphasized the company’s support through specially tailored finance schemes to meet the needs of various society segments.

He stressed Almajdouie’s “continued support through our wide network of integrated centers throughout Saudi Arabia to ensure peace of mind to our clients in all respects.”

Taking advantage of the media attention and the momentum of the “Yatek Khairha” initiative, Almajdouie showcased Changan car models CS75 and EADO, which reflect Changan brand’s development in the automotive industry.
