Muscat: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) in Oman has given approval for Air France to operate scheduled services from Muscat International Airport.

"Air France will operate three flights a week from Charles de Gaulle Airport in the French capital, Paris, to Muscat International Airport starting from October 24, 2021," the official statement said.

In July this year, Air France announced its long-haul flight schedule for the 2021-2022 winter season, which includes services to Muscat, Zanzibar, and Colombo from Paris.

The Paris - Muscat route was last operated in 1994 using the Airbus A310. The flight will utilize a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner three times a week on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
