Dubai: Abanos, one of the largest and most established holistic interior fit-out and joinery companies in the UAE, was recently awarded the contract of the upcoming 5-star Address Residences by Emaar located in Downtown, Dubai.

The project situated in the Opera District is an exclusive serviced apartment development that sets new standards in luxury and service. The architecture of the project keeps in-line with the elegance associated with the chain of residences, requiring bespoke interior fit-out work, fulfilled by Abanos. The company’s scope includes the joinery and fit-out of the serviced apartments and public areas for the Address Residences Dubai Opera.

The Address Residences Dubai Opera comprises of two high-rise towers with serviced apartments, one of which has been commissioned to Abanos. The project consists of 809 apartments that includes an assortment of premium one, two and three bedroom units along with sky penthouses consisting of four and five bedrooms. The development provides residents with luxurious amenities such as lounges, a swimming pool, a gym, a kids’ club and an expansive landscaped terrace.

Abanos and adopted BIM and Lean principles in the project to ensure benefits of 3D visualization along with production control and waste minimization. The company also utilizes BIM capabilities to finalize the coordination with all trades and solve complicated interfaces, extracting complete shop drawings from the 3D models.

Abanos operates a 21,000m2 facility in Dubai Investment Park with state-of-the-art manufacturing facility of 15,000m2 and warehousing facilities of 9,000m2. Investing in modern machinery, the company has the capacity to handle various large projects simultaneously and is capable of meeting international standards of quality and lead times.

Abanos has previously worked on the Palace Downtown hotel by Emaar and key projects include Dubai Design District (D3), Etihad Museum, At.Mosphere Restaurant at the Burj Khalifa, Old Souk to name a few. Abanos has also been recently awarded the contract for the Dubai Expo Village project, which is another milestone project for the company.
