824 new COVID-19 cases registered in Bahrain on Monday

Bahrain yesterday registered 824 new Covid-19 cases alongside 655 recoveries and two fatalities.

Two Bahraini men, aged 75 and 67, died yesterday, taking the total deaths to 515. Of the new cases, 241 were expat workers, 549 contacts of active cases and 34 travel-related.

An additional 655 people recovered, taking the total recoveries to 133,753. Of the 8,401 active cases, 144 are receiving treatment and 59 in critical condition.

Bahrain has so far registered a total of 142,669 cases.

The kingdom has also conducted 3,547,638 tests.
