His Excellency Humaid Al Qutami, Director General of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) inaugurated the 6th Top to Toe Transcatheter Solutions Conference 2020 on Thursday.

The event, which is taking place from February 13-15, aims to provide a stimulating and innovative program with quality education and scientific content that promotes a wide range of topics and attracts an excellent faculty of home grown and international speakers who are experts and industry leaders in their field.

It also provides a platform to engage and network with professionals from Interventional Cardiology, Vascular Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Endocrinology, Nursing, Scientific Research and Technology and Applications.

In his opening speech, Al Qutami said that the DHA is keen to keep pace with the advancement of catheter technology.

He said that the authority works on constantly training its staff on the latest techniques and adopting the latest technological advancements in the field, which is why it established two internationally accredited catheter centers, one for stroke treatment and the other for aortic valve replacement.
