On Wednesday, Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department and the University of Sharjah celebrated the graduation of the first batch of the "Real Estate Expert Diploma" program at the headquarters of the department. The program was sponsored by the Department and supervised by the Continuous Education Center and Professional Development at the University of Sharjah.

The opening ceremony was attended by His Excellency Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director General of Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department,Professor Dr. Radhi Al Zubaidi, Director for Continuous Education Center and Professional Development at the University of Sharjah, and His Excellency Counselor Humaid Ali Al Abbar, Advisor to the Real Estate Registration Department.

The program consists of 48 training hours spread over 16 days, and includes four courses taught in Arabic; which are: real estate economics and real estate market analysis, negotiation strategies and customer service in the real estate sector, financial management and real estate taxes, and finally real estate engineering and its legal legislation. In its first batch, 24 participants enrolled in the program, where training was conducted remotely via the Blackboard platform, with the participation of a group of qualified trainers and experts at the university.

In his speech at the graduation ceremony, His Excellency Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director General of the Department, expressed his great happiness at the graduation of the new batch of program members. He said, "The department always seeks to support the real estate sector Sharjah in various ways, as it is a pivotal sector for the progress and prosperity of the emirate, and in this context, the department created this program to provide the best training skills for workers in this sector, and to develop their skills to ensure that the work is performed in accordance with the best international standards and practices."

Meanwhile, Professor Dr. Radhi Al Zubaidi, Director for Continuous Education Center and Professional Development at the University of Sharjah, praised the efforts of the program’s associates, which dealt with many issues of interest to workers in the real estate field and works to develop their skills in this field. He added saying that this diploma is one of the advanced programs in the real estate field and stressed that the Continuous Education Center and professional development at the university works on qualifying human cadres who are professional in many disciplines needed by the labor market, and this is achieved through the establishment of mutually beneficial professional partnerships with different sectors of society.

His Excellency Counselor Humaid Ali Al Abbar, Advisor to the Real Estate Registration Department, commented: “Our goal behind creating this important training and educational program was to provide a comprehensive knowledge for its participants, which depends on sound scientific bases that contribute to raising the efficiency and effectiveness of trainees with multiple skills in various fields related to the real estate market, enabling them to perform their jobs in the sector at all times.”
