(Manama, Bahrain) – Bahrain FinTech Bay will host InsurByte 2019 under the patronage of the Central Bank of Bahrain.  Insurbyte is held in strategic partnership with the Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance (BIBF), the Bahrain Insurance Association (BIA), and FinTech Consortium. The two-day event titled “Reimagining Insurance” will take place on June 12th & 13th at the Gulf Convention Centre.

Insurbyte will host keynote speeches, panel discussions, fireside chats, hands-on workshops, networking sessions, and case studies from prominent players in the InsurTech sector. International leading experts will present critical topics of Insurance Technology, the challenges of the future and the emergence of new technologies that are transforming the insurance industry. In addition, the event will shed light on topics such as Blockchain Technology, Big Data & Process Automation, Impact & Role of Regulation, Cloud Computing, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Over 15 expert speakers will deliver their insights focused on InsurTech, shedding light on the importance of incorporating InsurTech within the insurance ecosystem. Amongst the most prominent speakers are experts from the Central Bank of Bahrain, Ronald Latenstein - CEO of Sailfish Group, Juergen Stoffel - Managing Director - Hannover Re Group, Tobias Taupitz - CEO & Co-Founder of Laka, amongst others.

The conference will provide a platform that aims to provide knowledge exchange, foster synergies among market players to find solutions, and promote innovative InsurTech practices in a collaborative, open, and transparent manner. The goal is to maximize the learning experience of attendees, and foster collaboration between different entities within the insurance space.
