Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the 9th FAHR International Conference will be held on the 17th and 18th of April, 2019, at the Jumeirah Emirates Tower Hotel in Dubai. The 2-day premier HR conference, running under the theme ‘The 4th Industrial Revolution Human Capital Challenges’, brings together a number of world-renowned experts, specialists and professionals in the field of human resources, who will offer their insights on the impact of technologies on sustaining human capital while also focusing on the rapid shifts and key factors that drive the company’s performance and success.

This was announced earlier today during a press conference held at the headquarters of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources in Dubai in the presence of Dr. Abdulrahman Abdul-Mannan Al-Awar, Director General of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) and Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, Chairman of INDEX Holding in addition to a number of officials, supporters, partners, and media executives.

During the press conference, Dr. Abdulrahman Abdul-Mannan Al-Awar, Director General of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, stressed that the UAE has proven itself on so many levels especially in terms of the government efficiency, mobilizing human resources, and advancing government work system. This is a natural result considering the great attention paid by the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai.

Dr. Al-Awar also pointed out that the UAE places utmost importance to human development and empowerment as well as developing their capabilities and upgrading their skills, talents and potentials in a way that would maintain the union of our country, confirming that the empowered individuals are the ones who honor their country and raise its name in all international forums. The UAE experience in empowering the human capital has been recognized worldwide as in UAE we do not only develop and improve the government work system but we also keep at pace with rapid global changes in various fields and strive to be part of this change.

He further stressed that the 9th FAHR International Conference comes at a time when the UAE is racing ahead to invest in the rapid technological developments in the world and employ them in the development of institutional work. In addition, the UAE is also focusing on enhancing the skills and competencies of employees as a fundamental requirement in response to future changes and correspondingly the jobs it will create.

Dr. Abdulrahman Abdul-Mannan Al-Awar also said that the 9th FAHR International Conference is a unique event in the field of human resources in the Middle East in terms of the content, speakers, participants, and topics. This all comes in line with the directives of our wise leadership in the development and empowerment of the government human resources.

He also indicated that FAHR International Conference is one of the most strategic initiatives of Federal Authority for Government Human Resources as it provides an important interactive platform for discussing and highlighting the various issues in the field of developing human capital in the public and private sectors, finding practical and intelligent recommendations and solutions for these issues and challenges, and identifying the best experiences, practices applied globally in this field.
