Dubai, UAE : In line with its efforts to use data and leverage the use of technology and innovation to enhance productivity and ensure business continuity, the Department of Government Support – Abu Dhabi, DGS, represented by the Abu Dhabi Digital Authority, ADDA, has announced that it has completed the development of an analytical model on human resources management in the Abu Dhabi Government, in cooperation with the Human Resources Authority – Abu Dhabi, HRA.

The analytical model aims to provide better insights on the mechanisms required for implementing policies on unplanned absence, thus ensuring smooth business continuity, boosting business development and opportunities, and developing more efficient employment schemes that safeguard business and individual growth.

Through this model, various data sets, including necessary historical data, will be collected and analyzed to obtain specific patterns of data, then a dashboard will be developed to showcase the results of the analysis and highlight key indicators, factors and trends. This will help with strengthening the planning process and further support the decision making framework.

His Excellency Mohamed Abdelhameed Al Askar, Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Digital Authority, said: “We are pleased with the cooperation with the HRA, which comes as part of our efforts to enable government entities in Abu Dhabi to utilise accurate data analysis and benefit from modern technologies and digital solutions in serving the community, enhancing business, and supporting an appropriate and more accurate decision-making process, and in line with Abu Dhabi’s vision to accelerate the digital transformation process across the emirate and to cement its position as a hub of digital innovation, both regionally and globally.”

Her Excellency Alia Abdulla Al Mazrouei, Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Human Resources Authority, said: “Participation in GITEX is an ideal opportunity to keep pace with the latest developments in information technology through exchanging knowledge and experiences and building partnerships with global tech companies.

“The completion of the analytical model on human resources management in the Abu Dhabi Government comes in line with our efforts to build an integrated, efficient, effective, productive, and competitive human resources system for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Also, these digital systems will help develop a better vision that enables us to plan for the future more effectively.”
