HAMBURG- A United Nations aid agency purchased around 20,000 tonnes of milling wheat to be shipped to Yemen in a deal in December, European traders said on Thursday.

The wheat is expected to be sourced from Ukraine. Shipment is in January.

The U.N. has been providing widespread food aid to Yemen as the conflict continues in the country including substantial imports of wheat and wheat flour.
