BEIRUT - Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC,) said on Thursday it had bought 465,000 tonnes of wheat in an international purchase tender for shipment Jan. 5-15.

GASC said the purchase comprised of 120,000 tonnes of Ukrainian wheat and 345,000 tonnes of Russian wheat.

Traders gave the following breakdown of the purchase in dollars per tonne:

* Louis Dreyfus: 60,000 tonnes of Ukrainian wheat at $217.70 and $14.65 freight equating to $232.35

* Hakan: 60,000 tonnes of Ukrainian wheat at $215.63 and $16.72 freight equating to $232.35

* Posco International: 60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at $218.88 and $13.47 freight equating to $232.35

* Grain Export: 60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at $218.88 and $13.47 freight equating to $232.35

* Grain Export: 60,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at $218.88 and $13.47 freight equating to $232.35

* ADM: 55,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at $217.83 and $14.52 freight equating to $232.35

* Garant Logistics: 55,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at $218.00 and $14.34 freight equating to $232.34

* Gemcorp: 55,000 tonnes of Russian wheat at $217.46 and $14.52 freight equating to $231.98
