CAIRO - Egypt sold $1.7 billion worth of dollar-denominated treasury bills at an average yield of 3.697 percent on Monday, the central bank said.

On Nov. 15, the bank said it would auction $1.675 billion worth of one-year dollar-denominated treasury bills on Monday. It said the auction would be settled on Tuesday and is open to local banks and foreign institutions.

One-year dollar-denominated treasury bills worth $1.73 billion issued a year ago are due to mature on Tuesday.
