Cairo – Mubasher: The financial indicators of the Egyptian Media Production City Co (EMPC) showed a 12.56% year-on-year profit growth during 2019.
Net profits after taxes increased to EGP 105.13 million last year from EGP 93.4 million in 2018, the company said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Sunday.
In the meantime, sales surged to EGP 430.9 million in the 12-month period ended 31 December 2019, compared to EGP 379.5 million a year earlier.
It is noteworthy that during the first nine months of 2019, EMPC’s net profits edged down to EGP 62.48 million from EGP 62.58 million in the corresponding period a year earlier.
